Director/PDMR Shareholdings

 

Finsbury Food Group Plc (AIM: FIF), a leading UK speciality bakery manufacturer of cake, bread and morning goods for both the retail and foodservice channels, announces that, on 21 September 2020, Dr Alice Duffy, the wife of John Duffy, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, purchased 173,913 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 57.5 pence per Ordinary Share.

 

Following this purchase, Dr Alice Duffy holds 2,606,811 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 2.00 per cent. of the Company's issued Ordinary Share capital, and John Duffy holds 10,781 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.008 per cent. of the Company's issued Ordinary Share capital.

 

The Company also announces that, on 21 September 2020, Nicola Boyd, the wife of Steve Boyd, Group Finance Director, purchased 100,000 Ordinary Shares at an average price of approximately 56.5 pence per Ordinary Share.

 

Following this purchase, Nicola Boyd holds 1,195,543 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.92 per cent. of the Company's issued Ordinary Share capital.

The retail Free From Cake market is valued at £52 million (source: Kantar Worldpanel 52 w/e 17th May 2020). ·      The Company comprises a core UK Bakery division and an Overseas division:

The UK Bakery division has manufacturing sites in Cardiff, East Kilbride, Hamilton, Salisbury, Sheffield, Manchester, and Pontypool.

The Overseas division comprises the Company's 50% owned company, Lightbody Stretz Ltd, which supplies and distributes the Group's UK-manufactured products and third party products, primarily to Europe, and the Company's manufacturing facilities in Rybarzowice and Zywiec in Poland.
