Wall Street indexes gained on Thursday after data showed weekly jobless claims
fell to a near 18-month low, allaying fears of a slowing economic recovery due
to the impact of the Delta coronavirus variant. .N
At 10:33 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.46% at
35,191.35. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.31% at 4,528.19 and the Nasdaq Composite
.IXIC was up 0.38% at 15,344.321.
