Nov 14 (Reuters) - Digital payments firm Nexi SpA
NEXII.MI is in talks to sell about 800 million euros ($865
million) of Italian assets to infrastructure fund F2i SGR SpA,
Bloomberg News reported on Tuesday.
The Italian company is in talks with the fund on a deal for
its clearing and digital corporate banking services, Bloomberg
said, adding the deal was part of the company's plan to focus on
core digital payment activities and rationalize its structure.
The assets are a part of the company's DBS digital solutions
unit, the report said, citing people familiar with the
situation.
Nexi is also in talks with suitors for its other DBS asset,
the ATM network for bank transfers and instant payments,
Bloomberg said, valuing the network at around 100 million euros.
Nexi declined to comment when contacted by Reuters, while
F2i SGR did not immediately respond.
