Transaction in own shares
Greencoat UK Wind PLC (the "Company" or "UKW") announces that, in accordance
with the terms of its share buyback programme (the "Programme") announced on
26 October 2023, the Company has purchased the following number of ordinary
shares of 1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares").
Date of Purchase 7 October 2024
Number of ordinary shares purchased 300,000
Lowest price paid (p) 139.60
Highest price paid (p) 141.10
Weighted average price paid (p) 140.26
The Company will hold the repurchased shares in treasury. Following the
purchase of these shares, the Company holds 39,234,715 shares in treasury. The
total number of Ordinary Shares in issue, excluding shares held as treasury
shares, is 2,268,213,941 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the
denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are
required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, UKW
under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
