Sept 6 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on Friday:

    ** Poland's InPost  INPST.AS  will decide whether it will
use its call option for the remaining stake in Britain's Menzies
by the end of this year, CEO Rafal Brzoska said.

    ** Japanese retail giant Seven & i Holdings  3382.T  said it
had turned down Canada's Alimentation Couche-Tard's  ATD.TO 
$38.5 billion cash bid, rejecting an offer that would be the
largest-ever foreign buyout of a Japanese company.

    ** Shanghai-based Haitong Securities  600837.SS  said it has
agreed to be acquired by its rival Guotai Junan Securities
 601211.SS  via a share swap, in one of the largest mergers in
China's securities history.

    ** Salesforce  CRM.N  said on Thursday it would buy Own
Company, a provider of data protection and management solutions,
for $1.9 billion in cash to accelerate growth of its data
security and privacy products.
