ATHENS, May 28 (Reuters) - OTE Telecom OTEr.AT ,
Greece's biggest telecoms operator, is in talks with West
Network Invest for the potential sale of its Romanian mobile
business, Telekom Romania Mobile, it said late on Monday.
Majority owned and managed by Deutsche Telekom DTEGn.DE ,
OTE said it has signed a memorandum of understanding with West
Network Invest, majority owned by Digi Romania.
The two companies are in the process of filing for approval
by the Romanian competent authorities.
Digi is part of telecoms group DIGI Communications, which
has operations in Romania, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Belgium.
Completion of the transaction is subject to customary
processes and approvals, OTE said in a bourse filing.
