Australia's Hexima rises on potential European patent for its onychomycosis treatment

** Shares of biotechnology company Hexima Ltd  HXL.AX  rise
as much as 9.1% to A$0.18, hitting their highest since June 1
    ** Hexima says an European patent covering the use of
pezadeftide, developed by the co, for the treatment of toenail
fungal infections (or onychomycosis) will be granted later in

    ** Says patent provides protection until 2035 and co also
expects to benefit from up to an additional five years of market
