HgCapital Trust have launched new video content with Doceo.

 

HGT provides investors with a listed vehicle to invest in unquoted businesses
managed by Hg, Europe's largest investor in software & technology-enabled
services businesses.

The objective of HGT is to provide shareholders with consistent long‑term
returns in excess of the FTSE All‑Share Index by investing predominantly in
unquoted companies where value can be created through strategic and
operational change.

 

Following HgCapital's results, Jim Strang, the Chairman of the Board,
summarises the progress of the trust over the last year. Portfolio company
performance has been remarkably resilient with the trust's top 20 companies
generating 25-30% revenue and EBITDA growth over the last year and this is
reflected in a 5% NAV uplift. Strang explains how portfolio health has allowed
the team to seek out new investments while three successful exits at an
average of 3.9 times the cost of investment have returned over £400m to
shareholders. The fact that these businesses were also sold above the level of
last valuation is an indication of robust process and underlying performance.
