HGT is pleased to announce that Dr Erika Schraner will join the Board from 1
August 2022.
Erika has held a number of senior leadership roles in global organizations
with a career spanning 25 years in Silicon Valley, UK and Europe, in Fortune
500 companies and the Big 4 professional services firms. Erika has a blend of
leadership, commercial and financial expertise, and extensive experience in
M&A, strategy, digital transformation, cyber security and operations.

digital expertise, as well as extensive experience in M&A, deal value
creation, realisations, and finance, which will bring a diversity of skills,
background and personal strengths relevant to HGT now and as the Company
continues to execute its strategy of investing in a portfolio of high-growth
private companies in the software and services sector."
Currently, Erika serves as a non-executive director and audit committee chair
of Aferian plc and is a non-executive director and chair of the nomination
committee at JTC Group Plc. Erika is also a NED of Bytes Technologies plc and
Pod Point Group Holdings plc. Erika's executive career included, most
recently, a role of a partner, UK M&A Integration Leader & TMT M&A
Advisory / Delivering Deal Value Leader at PwC in London until 2018. Prior to
that, Erika held a number of senior professional services roles with Ernst
& Young in Silicon Valley where ultimately she became a partner and the
Americas' Operational Transaction Services leader for the Technology sector.
Before that, Erika worked at IBM, Symantec Corporation, and CSC/DXC
Technology. Erika also served as a board member at Kevian Capital Management
LLC and an advisory board member at FreeOn Ltd and eBoomerang Inc. Since 2007,
Erika has been an investor in early-stage companies.
Erika received a PhD from Stanford University in Management Sciences &
Engineering and a MS in Mathematics from EPFL Switzerland. In 2020, she was
included on the 100 Women to Watch list, published by Cranfield University,
which recognises leading female professionals.
On appointment to HGT, Erika will join the Audit, Valuation & Risk
Committee, and the Nomination Committee. She will also chair the Management
Engagement Committee following the departure of Mr Peter Dunscombe in May
2022.
