Hg, the Manager of HgCapital Trust plc ("HgT"), today announces an investment
in Payworks.
The terms of the transaction are not disclosed.
HgT will invest approximately £17 million in Payworks with other
institutional clients of Hg investing alongside HgT through the Hg Genesis
Fund.
HgT, whose shares are listed on the London Stock Exchange, gives private and
institutional investors the opportunity to participate in all Hg's
investments.
Note that these figures only relate to HgT's share of Hg's overall investment
in Payworks.
HgT's liquid resources available for future deployment (including all
announced transactions and the £375 million credit facility of which £28
million was drawn at the time of this announcement) are estimated to be £366
million (15% of the estimated 30(th) June 2025 NAV of £2.5 billion).
The investment will reduce HgT's outstanding commitments to invest in Hg
transactions to approximately £1.7 billion (70% of the estimated 30(th) June
2025 NAV).
HgT will announce its interim results to 30 June 2025 on 15(th) September.
