TOKYO, July 25 (Reuters) - Japan's Kansai Electric Power Co
Inc  9503.T  has restarted the No.4 reactor at its Ohi nuclear
power plant and No.3 reactor at its Takahama nuclear power plant
in western Japan after maintenance and refuelling, a
spokesperson said on Monday.
    The utility restarted the 1,180 megawatt(MW) Ohi reactor on
July 15 after shutting it down on March 11 for maintenance.
    It also restarted the 870 MW Takahama reactor on July 24
after taking it offline on March 1 for turnaround. The company
also fixed damage found at heat exchanger tubes at the steam
generator. 
    With the restart of the units, Japan has seven operating
reactors with a capacity of 7,080 MW.
    Many of Japan's reactors are still going through a
relicensing process under safety standards imposed after the
2011 Fukushima disaster.  
    Nine regional power utilities and a wholesaler, Japan Atomic
Power Co (Japco), now have 33 reactors available for commercial
use, with a combined generating capacity of 33,083 MW. 
    The companies had 54 reactors operating before the Fukushima
disaster.
    The table below shows the status of Japan's nuclear power
plants. 
    The regional utilities are: Chubu Electric Power  9502.T ,

 9509.T , Hokuriku Electric Power  9505.T , Kansai Electric
