Hookipa Pharma up on achieving milestone set by Gilead for $5 mln payment

** Shares of Hookipa Pharma Inc  HOOK.O  rise ~6% to $0.85 
    ** Co says it has achieved milestone that makes it eligible
for a $5 million payment from Gilead Sciences Inc  GILD.O  under
its collaboration agreement with the co
    ** Hookipa says it completed and delivered a regulatory
support package for Gilead's early-stage trial testing its
experimental vaccine for chronic hepatitis B using HOOK's
platform
    ** First participant in the trial is expected to be dosed in
2023 - Hookipa
    ** In 2018, Gilead licensed exclusive rights to HOOK's
arenaviral platform to develop immunotherapies for HIV and
hepatitis B virus 
    ** HOOK shares lost ~65% of their value in 2022
