U.S. stocks opened higher on Wednesday, after consumer prices in October rose as
expected, keeping the Federal Reserve on track for gradual interest rate hikes,
while a rebound in oil prices lifted energy stocks. .N
At 9:57 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.63 percent at
25,446.79. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.71 percent at 2,741.58 and the Nasdaq
Composite .IXIC was up 0.78 percent at 7,256.989.
