Aug 7 (Reuters) - Poland's ING Bank Slaski INGP.WA
said on Wednesday its second-quarter net profit fell 12%
year-on-year.
Its net profit came in at 964.7 million zlotys ($244.6
million), slightly below a company-provided consensus of 972.6
million zlotys.
Net interest income (NII), a measure of earnings on loans
minus deposit costs, rose to 2.04 billion zlotys ($517.3
million) from 2.00 billion a year earlier, mainly due to
higher-interest loans, the bank said.
