Oct 31 (Reuters) - ING Bank Slaski INGP.WA , the Polish
unit of ING INGA.AS , reported a 5% fall in its third-quarter
net profit to 1.10 billion zlotys ($274.18 million) on Thursday,
hurt by higher costs, although that was mostly offset by higher
income.
The result was slightly below a company-compiled consensus
of 1.12 billion zlotys.
Net interest income (NII), a measure of earnings on loans
minus deposit costs, came in at 2.26 mln zlotys for the
July-September period, slightly above the company-compiled
consensus of 2.24 billion zlotys.
