The Board of JPMorgan Emerging Europe Middle East & Africa Securities plc
(the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Joanne Irvine as an
independent Non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 1(st) May
2025.  The appointment was made after a thorough selection process undertaken
with the assistance of a third party independent search consultancy.

Joanne Irvine has extensive experience investing in emerging markets and was
previously the Deputy Head of Global Emerging Market (GEM) Equities at
Aberdeen before she retired in June 2024. She has worked for Aberdeen for
nearly 30 years and was instrumental to the success of their GEM team.

Joanne Irvine does not currently hold any shares in the Company. No further
information is to be disclosed in respect of UKLR 6.4.8 of the Financial
Conduct Authority's Listing Rules for Joanne Irvine.

Commenting on the above event, Eric Sanderson, the Company's Chairman, said:
