Mr. Buckley is an experienced investment professional who has held senior positions in a number of asset management firms during his career. He was Chief Executive Officer of Scottish Widows Investment Partnership and held several senior positions at HSBC Holdings plc, most recently as Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Asset Management UK & Middle East. Mr. Buckley is currently the Non-Executive Chairman of Alliance Witan PLC, Fidelity Special Values PLC and Evelyn Partners Fund Solutions Limited. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Baillie Gifford & Co. Limited. Previously, Mr. Buckley has held senior fund management positions at Prudential Portfolio Managers and was a Non-Executive Director of Saunderson House Limited. He was also Chair of the Audit Committee, Remuneration Committee and Senior Independent Director of JPMorgan Asia Growth & Income plc. Mr. Buckley is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries. As at the date of this announcement, Mr. Buckley was beneficially interested in 50,000 ordinary shares of the Company.
