The Company aims to provide capital appreciation for shareholders through
investment in a diversified portfolio of UK listed smaller companies,
emphasising capital growth. The Company has an enhanced dividend policy which
aims to pay, in the absence of unforeseen circumstances, an annual dividend
equivalent to 4% of the Company's NAV on the last business day of the
preceding financial year. The target dividend is announced at the start of
each financial year and paid by way of four equal interim dividends in
October, January, April and July each year.
