Brief: Taiwan clears China Development Financial's stake purchase in China Life Insurance

Aug 15 (Reuters) - Taiwan's Financial Commission said:  
     
    * It has approved China Development Financial Holding's 
 2883.TW  purchase of a 25.33 percent stake of China Life 
Insurance  2823.TW , the commission said in a news briefing on 
Tuesday 
    * China Development Financial has to complete the purchase 
within the next three months
