Board and Senior Management changes

 

The Board of Kin + Carta announces that Brad Gray, Chief Financial Officer ("CFO"), is to step down from the Board on 17 June 2019. After he steps down Brad will facilitate an orderly handover until the end of the current financial year. Brad has been CFO since August 2014 and held other senior roles within St Ives, before it became Kin + Carta. He has played a significant role in the development of the Company from its legacy print-based origins to its current focus on the digital transformation market. The Board wishes to express its thanks to Brad for his contribution and wishes him well for the future.

 

The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Kutsor as the Company's new Chief Financial Officer. Chris will take up his position and join the Board on 17 June 2019. Chris, who holds an MBA in strategy and finance from the University of Chicago, has been Finance Director of a number of different businesses within Motorola Solutions, a global Fortune 500 technology solutions company. Chris was also most recently the Investor Relations Officer for Motorola Solutions.

 

The Board is also pleased to announce the appointment of Michele Maher as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 15 May 2019. Michele will take over as Chair of the Audit Committee with effect from 1 October when she will replace Mike Butterworth who will stand down from the Board on 30 September, having served nine years as a Non-Executive Director. Michele is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds an Executive MBA from Cranfield. She trained with KPMG and has held various positions at Dell Computers and the Hogg Robinson Group PLC ("HRG"). Latterly, Michele was CFO of HRG up until its sale in 2018.

 

In addition, the Board announces that Charlie Wrench is joining the senior management team as the Company's first Chief Connective Officer. Charlie will head up Kin + Carta's go-to-market strategy and over-arching digital transformation proposition. Charlie has held a number of senior management roles in the digital services space, including as CEO at international brand consultancy, Landor, as well as senior roles within the Engine Group in London.

I am delighted that Michele Maher has agreed to join the business.  She will be making an immediate contribution as a Non-Executive Director and will be well placed to take over the Chair of the Audit Committee in the Autumn."
