Brief: Best creates impairment of its Kredyt Inkaso investment

Aug 29 (Reuters) - Best SA  BSTP.WA : 
    * Said on Friday that in the connection with a probable 
acquisition of a stake in Kredyt Inkaso SA  KRIP.WA  by WPEF VI 
Holding V BV and uncertainty about Best's plans concerning 
Kredyt Inkaso, it decided to evaluate its investment in Kredyt 
Inkaso  
    * Said in relation to the above it decided to recognise an 
impairment loss of 18.5 million zlotys ($4.77 million) 
    * Said an estimated impact on its H1 financial result is at 
about 27 million zlotys  
    * On Aug. 22 said it maintains interest in merger with
