** Shares of drug developer Liminal Biosciences  LMNL.O 
rise 39.4% to $8.27 premarket  
    ** Co says Peter Thomson-backed Thomvest Asset Management
will acquire remaining shares it does not already own in LMNL
for $8.50 per share in cash  
    ** Thomvest already owns 64% stake in LMNL through its
investment firm Structured Alpha LP
     ** The deal represents a 43.6% premium to LMNL's last close
of $5.92 on Tuesday
    ** The deal is expected to close no later than Sept. 30 and
is not subject to any financing condition - LMNL
    ** Up to last close, stock up 82.2% YTD
