Canal+ gets access to Hachette catalogue via new joint venture
May 5 (Reuters) - French broadcaster Canal+ CAN.L said on Tuesday it was creating a joint venture between its cinema production arm, StudioCanal, and French publishing giant Hachette Livre ALHG.PA. The new entity, named "ON SCREEN", will give Canal+ premium access to Hachette's catalogue of over 100,000 titles, the company said.
