Australia's Creso Pharma rises after unit secures cannabis sales licence

** Cannabis products maker Creso Pharma  CPH.AX  rises as
much as 7.1% to A$0.03, on track for its best session since Oct.
14, if gains hold
    ** Co says its Canadian unit Mernova Medicinal has received
approval for an amended licence permitting the sale of cannabis
extracts, and other related products, referred to as cannabis
2.0 licence
    ** Co adds that it will progress ongoing product development
opportunities to fully capitalise on its cannabis 2.0 licence
    ** Stock is down ~65.9% so far this year, as of last close
