ZURICH/GDANSK, Aug 6(Reuters) - Here are some of the
main factors that may affect Swiss stocks on Tuesday:
     
    NOVARTIS  NOVN.S  
    Novartis and Viatris  VTRS.O  were hit with a federal
lawsuit in Maryland on Monday by the family of a woman whose
tissue cells were taken from her body in the 1950s and used to
fuel medical research and development.
    
    MEYER BURGER  MBTN.S  
    Meyer Burger and Solestial sign a manufacturing partnership
to scale production of solar cells for space.
     
    COMPANY STATEMENTS
    
    ADECCO GROUP AG  ADEN.S 
    Adecco reported a second-quarter profit slightly below
estimates on Tuesday, as hiring volumes fell amidst the economic
uncertainty that has driven corporations to cut staffing costs
and made employees less prone to switch jobs.
    
    GALENICA AG  GALE.S 
    Galenica H1 group sales grew by 2.6% to CHF 1,900.0 million.
    
    OC OERLIKON CORPORATION AG PFAEFFIKON  OERL.S 
    Oerlikon says it us raising its 2024 guidance after strong
execution in H1.

    Swiss July Unemployment Rate Adjusted due at 0545 GMT. Seen
at +2.5%.
    Swiss July Unemployment Rate Unadjusted due at 0545 GMT.
    Swiss June Retail Sales due at 0630 GMT.
