UK's Mobico shares slump on half-yearly profit fall; cost cuts announced

** Shares of transport company Mobico MCG.L falls as much as 21.9% to 25p, their lowest level since June 18

** Adj operating profit, excluding North America school bus, drops over 12% to 59.9 million pounds ($81.28 million) in H1FY25

** Mobico announces cost reductions across group and reiterates FY25 adj operating profit guidance of 180 mln pounds–195 mln pounds

** Including session's losses, stock down about 69% YTD
