** Steel manufacturer Mukand MUKA.NS jumps 8.47% to 147.25 rupees

** Co sells a land parcel in the financial hub of Mumbai for about 6.73 billion rupees ($77.9 million)

** Stock set for best day in a month, if gains hold

** Receives advance payment of 1.1 billion rupees from purchaser

** YTD, MUKA shares up 15.2%, including session's gains
