Nov 6 (Reuters) - National Bank of Greece NBGr.AT, the country's second-largest lender by market value, on Thursday posted a 7.9% drop in its nine-month profit before one-offs, as falling interest rates and rising operating expenses weighed on earnings.
NBG reported profit after tax and before one-offs of 979 million euros ($1.14 billion) for the January-September period, down from 1.06 billion euros a year earlier.
