Australia's Noxopharm climbs to near 9-month high on upbeat results from cancer study

** Shares of Noxopharm  NOX.AX  rise as much as 48.8% to
A$0.125, their highest levels since Nov 22, 2023
    ** The biotechnology co says it obtained encouraging new
data regarding its CRO-67 preclinical drug for pancreatic cancer
    ** Says the study results showed significant decrease in
tumour volume growth rate, decrease in barrier cells and
reduction in cancer spread
    ** About 3.8 mln shares change hands, 51.1 times the 30-day
average volume of shares
    ** Stock has risen 18.3% this year, as of last close
