Australia's Nuheara hits 17-mth low on discounted share placement plan

** Shares of audio-wearables maker  NUH.AX  tumble as much
as 15.8% to A$0.016, lowest since July 8, 2020     
    ** Co says it will raise A$1.6 mln ($1.15 mln) through a
private placement and up to A$3 mln via a share purchase plan

    ** Placement and SPP at an issue price of A$0.016,
representing a discount of 15.8% to stock's closing price on
Dec. 22
    ** Adds it will also receive investment of A$3 mln from

    ** Stock down 60.4% this year, as of last close
