    ** Nuvei Corp  NVEI.TO  shareholders voted in favour of a
plan that will see the Canadian fintech company bought by
American private equity firm Advent International and taken
private at a valuation of $6.3 billion. 
    
    ** Canada's financial regulator is maintaining the amount of
capital the country's biggest lenders must hold as a stability
for loan losses and other adverse events steady at 3.5%.
    
    ** Canadian pension fund Caisse de dépôt et placement du
Québec has earned a windfall profit by selling its stake in
data-centre consolidator eStruxture Data Centers Inc. as part of
a $1.8 billion recapitalization.
