US bank stocks down as Treasury yields rise

** Shares of U.S. banks rise as higher yields offset
optimism around recent economic data that boosted rate-cut
expectations 
    ** Goldman Sachs Group  GS.N , JPMorgan Chase  JPM.N ,
Morgan Stanley  MS.N , Citigroup  C.N  and Bank of America
 BAC.N  down between ~0.02% and ~0.7%
    ** US Bancorp  USB.N , PacWest Bancorp  PACW.O , Bank of New
York Mellon  BK.N , Comerica  CMA.N , M&T Bank  MTB.N , Keycorp
 KEY.N , Western Alliance  WAL.N  fell between ~0.1% and ~1.5%
    ** Investors are also geared up for commentary by a slew of
policymakers later in the week
