Panbela Therapeutics rises on research agreement for blood cancer treatment

** Shares of drug developer Panbela Therapeutics Inc
PBLA.O rise 13.7% at $7.4 premarket
** Co enters into research agreement with the University of
Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center
** Under agreement, co's experimental drugs, SBP-101 and
CPP-1X, will be evaluated in combination with CAR-T cell
therapies in lab studies as a treatment for a type of blood
cancer
** PBLA is separately studying SBP-101 as a treatment for
pancreatic cancer and CPP-1X for several tumors including
gastric cancer prevention and treatment of nerve tissue cancer
** Up to last close, stock down 92.6% YTD
