** Shares of Australia's Peppermint Innovation  PIL.AX  rise
as much as 5.6% to A$0.019
    ** E-commerce co acquires 'Application Modernisation' (AI &
CX) business divisions from XPON technologies  XPN.AX  
    ** Adds AI & CX divisions include Xpon Digital, which is to
be renamed Peppermint Intelligence Limited ("PINT") & Holoscribe
Australia Pty to be renamed as Peppermint Intelligence Pty
("PIPL") 
    ** PINT and PIPL to add immediate revenue to Peppermint's
business - PIL
    ** Says transaction to not affect co's capital structure as
no securities are proposed to be issued in consideration
    ** About 5.9 mln shares change hands as of 0105 GMT, vs
30-day average volume of 5 mln shares    
    ** Stock up 111.8% YTD, as of last close
