July 15 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Tuesday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.12%.
* RIO TINTO: Rio Tinto RIO.AX, RIO.L named Simon Trott as its new chief executive officer.
* THAMES WATER: Thames Water reported an
annual
pretax loss of 1.65 billion pounds ($2.22 billion) and a downturn in its environmental performance.
* DALATA: Scandinavian property companies Pandox AB PANDXb.STand Eiendomsspar AS EISP.NFF have agreed to buy Ireland's largest hotel group Dalata DHG.I for 1.4 billion euros ($1.64 billion), the companies.
* B&M: B&M BMEB.L reported higher like-for-like revenue in its UK business in the first quarter of fiscal 2026.
* BARRATT REDROW: Barratt Redrow BTRW.L, reported home completions for fiscal year 2025 below its expectations.
* ROBERT WALTERS: Robert Walters RWA.L reported a 13% decline in the second-quarter income it earns from fees.
* EXPERIAN: Experian EXPN.L reported an 8% organic revenue growth in the first quarter on Tuesday and maintained its annual forecasts.
* BANK OF ENGLAND: Britain's central bank lightened the capital requirements for medium-sized banks, as part of a wider set of reforms aimed at boosting the country's financial sector.
* STANDARD CHARTERED: The chief executive of Standard Chartered's STAN.L China securities unit has left the firm, two sources with knowledge of the matter said.
* DIAGEO: Diageo DGE.L on Monday filed an initial response to a lawsuit accusing the spirits giant of misleading U.S. consumers about the purity of some of its popular tequila brands, calling the claim "baseless".
* MORTGAGE: British finance minister Rachel Reeves will set out measures to ease access to mortgages on Tuesday.
* COMMODITITES: Oil prices fell, gold prices rose and copper prices on the London Metal Exchange and the Shanghai Futures Exchange saw narrow fluctuations on Tuesday.
