FRANKFURT, Dec 19 (Reuters) - CAT oil's O2C.DE management
and supervisory boards recommended that the Austrian fracking
specialist's shareholders accept a takeover offer by oil
industry veteran Maurice Dijols.
Dijols launched the offer last week, valuing CAT oil at 744
million euros ($926 million).
"(The) Management Board and Supervisory Board indicate that
the offer price of 15.23 euros is adequate from a financial
point of view," CAT oil said in a statement on Friday.
"However, the bidder's intentions remain, to a large extent,
unclear," it added.
Dijols' offer, made via British Virgin Islands-based
takeover vehicle Joma Industrial Source Corp, runs through Jan.
