Phoenix Group Holdings (UK): Change in Holding Company - Informative Notice

FTSE Russell has noted the scheme of arrangement in Phoenix Group Holdings (UK, B45JKK9, FTSE 250, GEIS Mid Cap) relating to the creation of a new holding company, Phoenix Group Holdings plc (UK, BGXQNP2). Shareholders will receive shares in the new holding company on a one for one basis. The new Phoenix Group Holdings will apply for  Premium listing on the Main Market and therefore will be considered eligible for inclusion for the FTSE UK Index Series and will retain Phoenix Group Holding's existing index membership.
 
Subject to shareholder and court approval, and based on the current timetable, FTSE Russell anticipate that code changes will become effective on 13 December 2018.
