       Feb 3 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1430 GMT on Monday:

        ** London (re)insurance broker Miller has agreed to
acquire AHJ Holdings, the parent of specialist broker Alwen
Hough Johnson (AHJ), in a move that will accelerate its
reinsurance expansion.

        ** Piraeus Financial Holdings  BOPr.AT , one of Greece's
four largest lenders, is in talks with private equity firm CVC
Capital Partners  CVC.AS  to buy National Insurance, its CEO
told a press conference.

        ** Investment firms Warburg Pincus and Berkshire
Partners have agreed to buy Triumph Group  TGI.N  in a
take-private deal valued at about $3 billion, the aircraft parts
maker said.

        ** Activist investor Starboard Value has taken a stake
in Becton Dickinson  BDX.N  and is pushing the medical
technology company to sell its life sciences unit, the Financial
Times reported.

    ** Brazil's Moreira Salles family confirmed its interest in
buying French glass packaging maker Verallia  VRLA.PA  but said
it would assess a bid after Verallia's full-year results on Feb.
19, sending the French firm's shares down as much as 10%.

    ** Spain's defence company Indra  IDR.MC  agreed to buy
89.7% of satellite operator Hispasat from Redeia  REDE.MC  for
725 million euros ($752.26 million), the company said on Friday
in a filing to the stock market regulator.

    ** Construction chemicals maker Sika  SIKA.S  said that it
has acquired Elmich Pte, a Singaporean construction firm and
supplier of greening systems.
