INTEREST RATES
Polish rate-setter Henryk Wnorowski said that as long as
subsequent inflation readings keep increasing, it is difficult
to initiate a conversation about interest rate cuts, but in the
first quarter there will be enough reasons to discuss the issue,
Dziennik Gazeta Prawna reported.
EU PRESIDENCY
The priorities of Poland's upcoming presidency in the
European Union will be presented in mid-December and will be
focused around security, Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarnecka, Minister
in the Prime Minister's office told Puls Biznesu daily.
OPINION POLLS
According to IBRiS pollster, the Civic Coalition would win
the parliamentary elections with 32.4% support, Law and Justice
(PiS) would come second with support of 29.4%, and Confederation
could count for 10.4% votes, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna the
newspaper reported.
