Italy - Factors to watch on April 17

The following factors could affect Italian markets on Wednesday.

    ECONOMY
    The International Monetary Fund forecast in its World
Economic Outlook on Tuesday that Italy's debt-to-GDP ratio would
rise this year to 139.2% from the 137.3% posted last year, and
continue to climb steadily to reach 144.9% in 2029.
    
        Bank of Italy releases 'Economic Bulletin' (1300 GMT).
  
    
    DEBT
        Treasury offers up to 3.0 billion euros following two
BTP bonds 3.85% due Dec. 15,2029 and 3,35% due March 1, 2035 in
exchenge for following five bonds: CCTEu due Oct. 15, 2024;
CCTEu due Jan. 15, 2025; 0.35% BTP bonds due Feb. 1, 2025; 3,40%
BTP bonds due March 28, 2025; 1.85% BTP bonds due July 1, 2025.
  
    
    M&A
    Lufthansa's  LHAG.MI  new remedies on its ITA Airways stake
buy are not markedly different from an earlier package rejected
by EU antitrust regulators which have also discounted Ryanair as
a rival in its scrutiny of the deal, people familiar with the
matter told Reuters on Tuesday.
