ANNOUNCEMENT
Consolidated Report on payments to governments(pursuant to article 6, L.3556/2007, as applicable)
PPC S.A., pursuant to the provisions of article 6 of Law 3556/2007, as applicable, informs the investor community that due to its mining activities in lignite fields, its expenses that were recorded for the fiscal year ending on 31/12/2016 amounted to  66.3 mln, on a consolidated basis, out of which  39.9 mln were paid in 2016 to Central Government Bodies, Regional and Local Government Authorities, as well as to Legal Entities governed by private law, which are 100% owned by the Greek State. 
The above-mentioned amounts break down as follows:
-  29.8 mln expense for the Special Lignite Levy ( 2/Wh), out of which  
13 mln were paid in 2016.
Moreover,  16.4 mln which concerned previous fiscal years, were paid in 2016. 
-  25.8 mln expense for the Special Levy for the Development of Areas where electricity is generated from Lignite Power Plants, which was not paid in 2016.
-  8.4 mln expense for archaeological excavations, out of which  8.2 mln were paid in 2016. 
-  2.3 mln expense for other Taxes & Duties, which was paid in full in 2016.
