Corrects 2nd paragraph to say Raiffeisen would take legal action against Rasperia, not against EU
VIENNA, Jan 30 (Reuters) - The CEO of Austria's Raiffeisen Bank International said on Friday that he expects to receive compensation for the 2 billion euros ($2.4 billion) in damages it has been sentenced to pay to Russian investment company Rasperia.
The CEO added the EU would need to clear such compensation and, if such clearance is not granted, Raiffeisen would in turn claim damages from Rasperia before an Austrian court.
