LONDON, Oct 26 (Reuters) - Shares in London-listed waste
management firm Renewi RWI.L dropped 22% on Thursday, after
asset manager Macquarie said it does not feel it is in an
informed position to make an offer for the company.
At 1244 GMT, Renewi RWI.L shares were down 22.6% and on
track for their largest ever daily drop.
Renewi was not immediately available for comment when
contacted by Reuters.
Macquarie said on Sept. 28 it was considering a possible
cash offer for Renewi that would value the company at around
$775 million. Renewi rejected the offer the same day.
