** Shares of Salisbury Bancorp Inc  SAL.O  rise 8.2% to $40
    ** Last month, SAL announced a dividend of 28 cents per
share to shareholders who own the co's stock as of Aug. 16

    ** Shareholders who purchase the stock after Aug. 16 will
not receive the dividend
    ** The dividend will be paid on Aug. 30
    ** Stock now up 10.5% this year
