** Shares of Australia's Saunders International SND.AX fall 2.5% to A$0.79, their lowest point since September 29

** The engineering and construction firm says it expects its financial performance for H1FY26 to be below PCP

** Adds that factors that affected performance in H2FY25 continued to impact operations in H1FY26

** Saunders has lost 1.9% so far this month, and down 21.8% YTD
