Schroder AsiaPacific Fund plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce the
appointment of John Lydon as an independent non-executive Director of the
Company, with effect from 1 May 2026. He will also be a member of the Audit
and Risk, Nomination and Management Engagement Committees.

Mr Lydon has over 30 years' experience in M&A, capital markets, strategic
advisory and investment across Europe, Asia, and North America. He has held
various leadership roles in the financial sector at J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank
and Davy Group, and in the industrial sector at CRH plc. Mr Lydon is currently
a Venture Partner at Princeville Capital, a leading global growth-stage
technology investor.
