Investment into JMG Group

 

SBO is pleased to announce a new private equity investment in JMG Group
("JMG"), one of the UK's fastest-growing insurance brokers. The investment is
made via Synova, a longstanding private equity investment partner of Schroders
Capital. Synova has been the majority shareholder of JMG since 2020.

 

JMG, founded and headquartered in the UK, has rapidly established itself as an
industry-leading UK brokerage platform with >800 insurance professionals
providing comprehensive risk management solutions to small and medium-sized
enterprises and high-net-worth individuals. JMG has a differentiated strategy
of acquiring local and regional brokerages and leveraging its platform to
enable local offices to deliver above-market organic growth.

 

The investment by SBO will support JMG's strategy to further accelerate
acquisitions, invest in talent, and develop its platform, positioning JMG for
continued success in the UK insurance market.

 

The transaction is expected to close in September 2025 and will be subject to
customary closing conditions.

 

This marks SBO's twelfth private equity investment, further diversifying its
portfolio of high-quality, growth-oriented businesses with a focus on
long-term value creation.
