Portfolio management arrangements

The Board of Schroder Income Growth Fund plc (the 'Company') announces that
Matt Bennison, a named Co-Manager of the Company, has resigned from Schroders.

Sue Noffke, Head of UK Equities, with 35 years' investment experience at
Schroders, has managed the portfolio since July 2011, and will continue in her
role as Fund Manager.

Over the period the net asset value of the Company's ordinary shares has
increased by 7.8% per annum, outperforming the FTSE All Share Index by 0.9%
per annum(1). Dividends per share paid by the Company have grown by 55% over
the same period, 7% more than inflation as measured by the Consumer Price
Index.

Schroders plans to recruit another experienced fund manager and an analyst to
complement Sue and support the Company.
