Directorate Change
The Board of Schroder UK Mid Cap Fund plc (the "Company") is pleased to
announce that Harry Morley has been selected to succeed Robert Talbut as Chair
of the Company. Subject to Harry's re-election as a Director at the Annual
General Meeting ("AGM") the appointment will be effective from the conclusion
of the meeting, to be held on 24 February 2025. Robert Talbut, having served
nine years on the Board, will not seek re-election at the forthcoming AGM. The
Board thanks Robert for his invaluable contribution and leadership during his
time as Chair.
Harry was appointed as a non-executive Director in September 2023 and has
since acted as Chair of the Remuneration Committee. The Board has considered
Harry's diverse executive experience and is confident that he has the right
attributes and knowledge to successfully lead the Board.
Harry was previously CEO of Armajaro Asset Management LLP and was the
co-founder and CFO of Tragus Holdings Ltd, owner of Café Rouge and Bella
Italia restaurant chains. He also worked in the shipping industry for P&O.
He qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse. Harry is
currently a non-executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee for JD
Wetherspoon plc, and the Senior non-executive Director and Chair of the Audit
Committee for TheWorks.co.uk plc.
