U.S. stock index futures ticked higher on Thursday, helped by early data
suggesting the Omicron variant of the coronavirus was less severe than feared,
while investors looked ahead to weekly jobless claims and monthly inflation
numbers.  .N 
    At 7:21 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were up 0.34% at 35,754. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were up 0.33% at 4,701.25, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were up 0.25%
at 16,209.5.
